Tea Club
The Redstart Primary School offer a well supervised Tea Club facility for children aged 3-11 years old. The Tea Club provision runs from 15.15pm until 17.30pm. Children can attend short sessions until 16.15pm, later sessions from 16.15pm until 17.30pm or full sessions. They are offered a light snack and drink to keep them going until home time. There is plenty to do during these sessions; crafting and games are always popular, but outdoor play, trips to the park and picnics are seasoned favourites too!
Tea club offers two registers for Nursery children and 3 Registers for School Children.
We also offer a discount of 5% per child when you book one or more siblings into the same time slot. (The 5% discount is available for children who attend nursery and / or school.)
School children:
3:15pm - 4:15pm - £5.00
4:15pm - 5:30pm - £6.00
3:15pm - 5:30pm - £7:50
3:15pm - 4:15pm - £4.80 (5% sibling discount)
4:15pm - 5:30pm - £5.75 (5% sibling discount)
3:15pm - 5:30pm - £7.18 (5% sibling discount)

*A registration form must be completed before attending via ParentMail under the form section, giving any details that are required.
*Any sessions booked require a 48 hour cancellation, cancelling any time after this will still incur the full charge.
*Sessions for Tea Club are booked on a Pay As You Go system, therefore you will be required to book and pay for your child / children to attend.
*There are 30 bookable spaces available.
*Children are met by the Tea Club staff from their classrooms.
*There are always a minimum of 2 adults in Tea Club, occasionally teaching assistants may also cover and help out on busy days.
*Some activities will take place outside and occasionally off of the school premises, for instance in the play park weather permitting.
*If children have any homework there are opportunities for this to be completed, we also try to find time to listen to the children read.
*Parents may collect their children at any time from the hall.
*The contact number for Tea Club sessions should you be late or have an emergency: 0776 016 9113.
*Sessions close at 5:30pm, for any children who are not collected at this point there will be a late collection charge added to ParentMail of £10.00.
*Any child / children whose behaviour is unacceptable will lose the right to attend Tea Club.
*Childcare vouchers may be used in payment, our Ofstead number is 9332329.
