Who are FoRS?

Friends of Redstart School (FoRS) is a group of elected volunteer parents who aim to raise as much money as possible over the year for the school to spend on resources and trips that all the children benefit from.

What events take place throughout the year?

Christmas Fayre, Easter Fayre, Summer Fayre, Cinema Nights, Discos, School Photographs, Christmas Cards, Race for Redstart and Bingo

Where does the money go?

As an example, last year every child was allocated £5 towards the cost of their school trip. In addition to this, to celebrate Year 6’s achievements over their time at Redstart Primary they all receive a scientific calculator and had their coach to Kilve Court and a day out Bowling paid for. Throughout the school year various items can be requested from the teachers for their specific classrooms. FoRS are also proud to be funding the replacement Tipi for Forest School following the vandalism to the previous Tipi, this is something all children can benefit from.
