Welcome to our school
Welcome
We are very proud of our school and are delighted to welcome visitors. If you visit us, you will notice the calm, purposeful learning in every area of the school. We have a wide ranging curriculum which fully promotes a well-rounded approach and ensures children have access to a wide variety of topics and curriculum areas.
The children and staff will be especially pleased to show off our wonderful outdoor provision. Every child has access to a specific Forest School day once a fortnight where they wear suitable clothes and participate in a variety of activities such as making food, creating shelters, managing the site in a sustainable fashion and woodcraft. In addition, the outdoor areas are used to support our delivery of high quality PE, to provide backdrops for history re-enactments and space for science experiments.
We would also like to show off our artwork - the walls are adorned with high quality examples from our art curriculum and will show the excellent progress from Nursery up to Year 6.
No doubt you will meet our Year 6 ambassadors who will be able to show you around and answer any questions you have about our school. They take responsibility for a variety of issues, such as playground support, sharing pupil voice and even decorating the Christmas tree!
We look forward to welcoming you to our school.
